These series of Work Binders are designed as supplemental stimuli to your teaching program and/or aide in teaching new concepts. Each binder contains over 10 activity pages and can teach one specific skill or multiple skills depending on a child’s needs and ability. Parents and teachers often use the binder as an independent task tool where the child starts at the beginning of the book, completes each page in order, and then puts the binder away when finished. They incorporate a number of skills that can be customized for the child by removing from or adding to the specific activity pages in the book.
In a group teaching situations, teachers use one binder per child and present directions to the class as they walk through each activity page. The Independent Works Binders are commonly used in centers, task bins, and as independent downtime activities.
Worksheet & Wipe-off Work Binder: Book 1 is the first book in a series of 5 binders currently in development.
This binder is different from the others in the set because this series uses both matching activities with Velcro including sorting and question/answer responses, as well as worksheets that a child can use to write on and reuse over and over again. With a dry-erase marker, a child can learn basic worksheet conventions such as, drawing a line from one item to another or circling the correct answer on the page.
A variety of skills are included to provide a fun presentation for all levels of learners and the convenience of using the same book time and time again. Here are the skill areas you will find in Book 1:
- · Color matching worksheets
- Word to word matching worksheets
- Number to word correspondence
- Uppercase to lowercase letter correspondence
- Uppercase to uppercase letter matching worksheets
- Sorting by category
