Private equity isn't inherently bad. Actually, I know of a PE-owned agency that I happen to like very much. Their chief strategist is interested in teaching independent ABA Agency owners how to run a more efficient practice. There's a lot we can learn from a PhD-level strategist (in Economics) who used to work for major strategy consulting firms who has been studying our industry and is willing to share his knowledge.
