Special Learning, Inc., the leading global provider of mobile technology applications and educational resources for the autism community, announced today that it is seeking guest bloggers to partner with to bring the most relevant information to its active website blog. The blog currently features expert insight, guidance, tips and treatment options from professional care providers who work with individuals affected by autism. “We are calling on bloggers serving the autism space to help us carry out our mission to create solutions that help individuals with ASD live abundant and fulfilling lives, and to educate even more individuals about the technology solutions currently available to them,” said Karen Chung, founder and president of Special Learning. “Through this new initiative we’re hoping to collaborate with other leaders in the autism community, provide them with a new channel to deliver their message, and bring together the autism community through sharing and learning.”
Special Learning designs evidence-based products and services using the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The company provides the global autism community with a comprehensive range of training and educational products, web-based and downloadable tools, and professional services for parents, teachers and providers so that they can deliver the best possible outcomes to individuals with autism.
Individuals interested in providing guest blog posts for Special Learning’s blog should be a member of the autism community or touched by the condition in some way. Topics can include a variety of subjects related to autism spectrum disorder, its treatment, parenting children through autism, tips and techniques for navigating a day in the life of an individual with autism, and any other stories about how autism has touched their lives. Additionally, Special Learning seeks stories about how individuals have benefited from the use of the company’s products.
Guest bloggers need not have written previously, though some experience and the ability to draw upon a pre-existing channel of readers may be helpful; they simply should have the desire to contribute to the overall conversation about autism and be able to tell a compelling story.
Guest blog contributors are also eligible to receive a free download from Special Learning and can choose from a variety of products including eBooks, social stories and visual schedules, among others.
