About Autisable
Autisable made its debut in 2008 as an integral component of the Xanga.com, LLC blogging community network. This initiative aimed to establish a platform for individuals to express their experiences with Autism. Joel Manzer, chosen by the Xanga Team to lead the site, brought his personal perspective to the role, being a father to a child diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
During its initial 6-year period, Autisable experienced consistent growth in both its website traffic and community engagement. The platform successfully brought together a diverse group of over a hundred bloggers, along with numerous national and international non-profit organizations. This collaborative effort resulted in reaching a global audience of more than 30,000 unique IP addresses, generating well over a hundred thousand page views each month.
