IABA's Advanced Behavioral Support Training for Professionals is a set of recorded sessions led by Dr. Gary LaVigna and Dr. Thomas Willis for experienced behavior analysts who use non-punitive, positive behavior support.

What is included

Fifteen recorded sessions in three IABA modules, each with a downloadable slide deck.

Module 1: positive practices, ecological strategies, positive programming and reinforcement techniques.

Module 2: functional behavioral assessment, functional analysis, antecedent and consequence analysis, stimulus control, and a full functional assessment drawing on observation, interviews and records.

Module 3: emergency management and reactive strategies, antecedent control, counterintuitive strategies, and topography and episodic severity.

How to calm a behavioral crisis safely and lower its severity without punishment.
