Intro to ABA Level 3: BIP Development and Implementation
The Intro to ABA Level 3 course is a 10-session online course for behavior technicians, teachers, aides and parents who have finished Levels 1 and 2 and want to learn how to build and carry out an ABA program and behavior plan.
What is included
The sessions are Overview of ABA and Treatment Plans; Conducting an Intake; Conducting Skills Assessment; Creating Treatment Plans and Lesson Plans; Implementing Treatment Plans and Lesson Plans; Visual Supports and Prompting; Data Collection Procedures; Graphing and Interpreting Data; Creating and Implementing Behavior Plans; and Technology in ABA.
You learn to complete a new client's intake, assess baseline skills, write goals in observable and measurable terms, and look at the function of a behavior when planning how to address it.
Each session uses videos, situation-based scenarios and real-life examples, with a test before and after it so you show you have mastered the material before moving on, and the course ends with a final exam.
A note-taking handout and other downloadable materials sit beside the sessions.
The course builds your ABA knowledge but does not prepare you to replace an experienced behavior analyst; every ABA program should be created by, or together with, a qualified behavior analyst.

5/5 — "I absolutely loved my experience with Special Learning. I have been able to apply the knowledge I have learnt in my work settings. The knowledge I have acquired is valuable, such as the techniques learnt, data collection, the information needed for a case study and much more. The course has really given me an insight into the world of a Behavioral Specialist and the importance of 'Applied Behavioral Analysis' (ABA) techniques, particularly for children with various special needs. Some day I hope to become a Behavioral Specialist."
