The PA IBHS Interpersonal, Safety and Systems Training is a set of seven recorded modules for Behavioral Health Technicians working in Pennsylvania IBHS settings.

What is included

I01 Communication & Conflict Resolution Skills, and I02 Crisis Intervention: Risk Management, De-escalation & Safety Planning.

I03 Universal Precautions, Safety & First-Aid Readiness; this module does not meet the Pennsylvania first-aid requirement, which must come from an approved first-aid provider.

I04 Child Protective Services Law & Mandated Reporting (PA), as background knowledge only; it does not replace the mandated-reporter training Pennsylvania requires from a Department-listed organization.

I05 Safe Use of Restrictive Procedures (55 Pa. Code 5240.6).

I06 Family Systems Theory & Engaging Families in Services, and I07 Community Resources & Child/Youth-Serving Systems.
