About this product

How can I choose a short social story about sleeping in my own bed?

Check the story length and the family wording before choosing. Sleeping In My Own Bed has ten illustrated story pages in each 13-page story PDF. The English digital set costs $9.99 as a one-time purchase and includes four PDFs with 52 pages in total.

1

How long is the story itself?

The color and black-and-white versions each contain the same ten numbered story pages, plus a cover and closing information, for 13 pages per file. The complete 52-page set includes both versions and supporting materials; it is not one 52-page story.

2

What does the bedtime story describe?

The story describes having room to move in your own bed, feeling worried about sleeping alone, and choosing a favorite doll, stuffed animal or nightlight. It describes parents tucking the child in at bedtime and the child asking for another tuck-in after waking during the night.

3

Will the wording fit our family?

The printed story refers to “Mom and Dad” and to brothers and sisters having their own beds. It assumes that the child has their own bed and that parents are available for tuck-ins, including after a nighttime waking. Check whether those words and arrangements match your household before buying. The story presents one family routine; it does not promise better sleep.

4

What is included in the download?

There are four PDFs: a 13-page color story, a 13-page black-and-white story, three pages of rule cards including a ten-point text recap, and a 23-page general Social Stories Instructional Guide. The 52-page total includes front matter. The guide covers activities such as reading, coloring, sequencing and role play; its examples are not all about bedtime. Printed copies are not shipped.

5

Does this set include a story personalized for my child?

The set is supplied as four finished PDFs: the two illustrated story versions, rule cards and the general teaching guide. It is not listed as an editable template, a photo-upload tool or a custom story-writing service. A story with your child’s name, photographs or different family wording is not included in the $9.99 purchase.

6

Should I choose this ready-made story or make my own?

Start by comparing the story’s wording with the situation you want to explain. This one uses “Mom and Dad,” siblings with their own beds and parents returning for nighttime tuck-ins. If you need different people, pictures or arrangements in the story, you will need a separate way to create that version. Choose this set for the supplied bedtime story and teaching materials, rather than expecting a personalized file.
