The Teaching Sexuality social narrative bundle is a set of downloadable social stories for parents, caregivers and educators teaching young adults and adults with autism or other developmental disabilities about dating, relationships and safe sex.
What is included
Four titles: a Protecting Myself from Pregnancy and STDs story, a Practicing Safe Sex story, a Finding My Way Through Dating and Relationships story, and a same-sex version of the dating and relationships story.
Each story uses simple text and realistic illustrations to explain a hard subject and define key terms around puberty in plain language.
Two of the titles also come with a teaching guide and portable social rule cards for teaching on the go; the other two are the story alone.
The stories teach self-help, social and communication skills.
