Two Special Learning sessions with QABA credit

Here are two of our recorded sessions that carry QABA continuing education credit: ADHD and Medication: What the Evidence Says and Psychopharmacology Module 1: Overview of Childhood Disorders. Each is one recorded session, a one-time purchase of $39, and each issues a certificate with QABA credit (or IBAO credit, if you choose it) when you pass its quiz.

Is Special Learning a QABA-approved provider?

Yes. Special Learning is a QABA-approved CE provider (QABA CE Provider QCB-21175) and an IBAO-approved CE provider. QABA approves the provider rather than each course, so the credit each session carries is printed on its certificate. This page describes only the two sessions below.

ADHD and Medication: What the Evidence Says

Presenter: Ronald T. Brown, PhD; co-presenter Deborah P. Coehlo, PhD.

The panel separates target symptoms from impairment across settings, uses observable baseline measures such as reminders, task latency and time on task, and moves from assessment to stimulant formulations, medication coverage and the panel’s approaches to monitoring each person’s response. A case follows a child into adolescence, bringing medication, parent counseling, school accommodations and organization supports into one discussion.

Pass the quiz and your certificate issues right away. It carries QABA General Continuing Education Credits or IBAO ABA Topics CEU Hours, whichever you choose. This session carries no BACB credit.
