Dr. Abraham Graber earned his PhD in philosophy from the University of Iowa in 2013. He served as the Director of Medical Humanities at the University of Texas at San Antonio from 2016-2021 and joined the Wexner College of Medicine in January of 2023. He has wide ranging rearch interests, including philosophy of science and meta-ethics; however, his primary specialization is in disability bioethics with an emphasis on developmental disabilities.
Dr. Jessica Graber earned her PhD in School Psychology at the University of Iowa, specializing in school consultation and brief outpatient services for individuals with intense behavioral challenges. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, working across inpatient psychiatric, school, outpatient, and telehealth contexts and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Texas at San Antonio, working as a research consultant, university instructor, and clinical supervisor. Since completing her training, Dr. Graber has supervised psychological and behavior analytic services for persons with neurodevelopmental differences and adaptive challenges across school, outpatient, residential treatment, and telehealth-to-home contexts. She is currently a psychologist in the Complex Behavior Program at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
