There is no law that states that a child affected by autism should not be allowed to enjoy a sport of his or her interest. Limits are only applicable to the physical, developmental and communal skills of the child when it comes to sports and autism. A child’s developmental age and his or her interest should be the basis of what kind of sports the child should join with. Proper planning and informing are just two ways to achieve positive outcomes to sports exposure for the child diagnosed with autism.
