Alaska ABA staff requirements, with sources
This page is for people who run an ABA team in Alaska. It lists the training, supervision and credential rules for behavior technicians and analysts that we found at a state source. Each rule shows the law or policy it comes from and the date we last checked Alaska. Where we couldn't confirm a rule, we say so instead of guessing.
This version covers U.S. states. If you're outside the U.S., email contact@special-learning.com with your country and we'll tell you when yours is ready.

What the state requires
The Medicaid fee schedule for CPT codes 97153/97154 states these codes are administered by a technician under the direction of a qualified healthcare professional; the schedule itself says it does not cover all services and that controlling regulation should be consulted.

What we couldn't confirm, and why
Alaska's rule on who can deliver and supervise ABA, 7 AAC 135.300(d), sits on a state website that blocked our access, so we could not read it at the source. What is listed above comes from the state's Medicaid fee schedule, which says it is not the controlling rule.
This page is general information, not legal advice. Rules change, so confirm with the state before you act on it.
