For BCBA supervisors and team leads

New technician supervision huddle planner

Prepare a short practice and feedback conversation for a new behavior technician.

Choose a practice focus to make a simple agenda for your next huddle. Use fictional examples; do not enter any client information. This is a conversation aid, not an RBT 40-hour training, competency assessment, or substitute for your organization’s procedures or board requirements.

Build an agenda

Entries are not saved or submitted. They may disappear if you leave or refresh; print the agenda before leaving if you want a copy.

During the huddle

  1. Agree on one skill and describe what the technician will practice in a fictional example.
  2. Ask the technician to explain their reasoning, then offer specific feedback and clarify what to do when uncertain.
  3. Agree on a next check-in and what the supervisor will observe. Follow your organization’s procedures and credentialing rules.
