When is my BCBA recertification due? Find your date in 30 seconds

Your recertification date isn't a mystery — it's printed in your BACB account — but most BCBAs check it twice a cycle: once when they certify, and once in a panic. Here's how to find it now, and what to do with it.

Find your exact date

Your certification cycle and expiration date are in your BACB portal account (BACB.com → your account). Your cycle is two years, and your renewal window opens well before your expiration date.

What your date decides

• More than 6 months out: you're in the cheap, calm zone. Spread your CEUs across normal work months.
• 90 days out: this is when most people start. Still fine — but book the hours now, not the month of.
• 30 days or less: you're in the window where last August one BCBA bought her CEUs five days before her deadline, and another bought on her deadline month. It works — but nobody does their best learning in a panic.

The requirement, plainly

The BACB requires 32 CEUs per 2-year cycle for BCBAs, including ethics CEUs and — if you supervise — supervision CEUs. Your own totals live in your portal; the tracker above shows what you have against what's left.
