Record the learning step
In your organization’s approved system, record the date, the topic, who provided instruction, the practice method and the agreed follow-up. Record observable actions and questions, rather than labeling the person “ready” based on a video alone.
Use these fields
- Topic and context: what was introduced and which approved practice scenario was used?
- Practice: what did the learner demonstrate, and what feedback did the supervisor give?
- Follow-up: what needs another demonstration, who is responsible and when will you revisit it?
- Course record: where is the learner’s completion record stored under your organization’s policy?
Keep client identifiers out of a general-purpose worksheet. This record is a management aid, not a BACB assessment form, certification or permission to work independently.
