Where is my CE certificate?

Sign in at store.special-learning.com and open your account dashboard. Certificates sit with the course or library they came from, and they stay there — you can come back and download the same certificate again years later. You don’t need an active subscription to download a certificate you already earned.

After you finish the content and pass the assessment. It’s generated at that moment, not on a nightly batch, so if you’ve passed and waited a few minutes and still see nothing, something went wrong and it’s worth telling us rather than waiting longer.

Yes. Email contact@special-learning.com with the course name and roughly when you finished it, and we’ll send it. The dashboard copy is the same document.

Check first that the assessment recorded a pass — a closed browser tab during the last question is the most common cause, and the fix is simply to take it again. If your account shows the pass and no certificate, that’s on us, not on you. Email contact@special-learning.com with the course name and the date you finished. We can see the record on our side and reissue it.

That’s a deliberate check, not a fault in your work. The BACB requires 40-hour RBT training to be completed over no fewer than 5 days and no more than 180 days. If our record of your start and finish dates falls outside that window, we don’t mint the certificate automatically — issuing one that’s facially outside the requirement wouldn’t serve you when you submit it.

Please contact us. Someone will go through your dates with you. Course records sometimes carry a start date from an earlier enrolment or a trial, and that’s fixable.

A small number of items are deliberately closed while we review their content, and a closed item isn’t a billing problem. If a course in a library you’ve paid for won’t open, tell us which one — we’ll either open it or tell you plainly why it’s closed and what we’re doing about it.

These are two different documents. A completion certificate records that you finished the course. A continuing education certificate additionally carries the CEU amount and our BACB ACE Provider number, which is what you need for certification maintenance.

If you took a course that carries BACB CEUs and the document you downloaded is the completion version, that can happen, and it’s our record-keeping rather than anything you did. Email contact@special-learning.com and say which course — we’ll check what your account records as earned and reissue the correct certificate. You don’t need to retake anything.

Worth knowing before you write: not every course carries CEUs, so a completion certificate is often exactly the right document. If you’re not sure which your course was, ask us and we’ll tell you.

Tell us and we’ll correct it. A certificate whose date doesn’t match when you actually did the work is a problem at renewal time, so this is worth raising even when it looks like a small thing.

If you downloaded a certificate before September 2026 and the date on it is clearly impossible, download it again — a date-handling fault was corrected on 31 August 2026, and re-downloading now produces the corrected document.

The certificate prints the name on your account. Correct it in your account profile and download the certificate again — the new download carries the new spelling. If it doesn’t, email us and we’ll fix it at our end.

A continuing education certificate from us carries your name, the course title, the CEU amount, the completion date, and our BACB ACE Provider number, OP-14-2437. That’s what you keep for your records in case you’re audited.

No. You record your own CEUs in your BACB account, and you keep the certificate as documentation. We can only see the hours you’ve taken with us, so check your own total and your cycle dates against your BACB account rather than against your Special Learning dashboard.

The Video CE Library for Behavior Analysts carries 32.5 CEUs, including 4.0 Ethics and 3.5 Supervision hours. The BCBA 2-year cycle requires 32 hours including 4.0 ethics; supervisors also need 3.0 supervision. There’s more on this in our CEU FAQ.
