Plan a school team’s training rollout
Use this ten-week planning outline to arrange time, supervision and support. Adapt it to your school; it is not a prescribed course schedule. Do not include student names or personal records.
Before staff begin
- Confirm the staff roles, the district’s training requirements, and who approves the purchase. Decide which required training must happen separately.
- Choose a coordinator and supervising educator; set aside individual learning time and a brief team check-in. Ask about accessibility or language needs.
- Confirm how accounts and access will be provided. If anyone already has paid Level 1 access, contact us before starting another trial.
Weeks 1–2: orient and make a plan
- Explain why the team is learning together and how staff can ask for help. Each person checks their own course access and notes their activation date.
- Ask the supervising educator to identify how staff should connect course concepts to existing school policies and student plans. Training does not replace those plans or supervision.
Weeks 3–8: learn, discuss, apply
- Reserve time for course work and short discussions. Ask staff what was clear, what needs explanation and which concepts are relevant to their role.
- The supervising educator chooses any practice and feedback in line with school policy and individual plans. Avoid discussing identifiable students in this worksheet.
Weeks 9–10: finish and review
- Leave time for the final exam and any needed support before each learner’s access ends. Confirm separately what completion records your district requires and how it will retain them.
- Ask the team what helped, what remains unclear and what support or training is needed next. Record the next action and its owner in your school’s own system.
Scope: Level 1 is foundational training drawn largely from work with young children in classrooms and homes. It is not a substitute for required district training or a corrective action.
For a school group, Level 1 is $99 per person for 10 or more, paid once. Plan your team and request a written quote.
