BACB July 2026 Participation-Monitoring CE Requirement
Starting July 1, 2026, BACB ACE Provider standards no longer accept plain article-and-quiz on its own. Self-paced (asynchronous) CE must include participation monitoring — at least 3 knowledge-check questions per CEU. Video, journal clubs, and podcasts can all qualify.
Where to Earn CEUs
CEUs must come from BACB Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) providers. Special Learning is ACE Provider #OP-14-2437. Our CE Library provides 32 CEUs (including 4 ethics and 3.5 supervision) for $199/year.
Frequently Asked Questions
32 CEUs every 2-year certification maintenance cycle. This must include at least 4 CEUs in Ethics and 3 CEUs in Supervision (if you supervise). Special Learning's CE Library covers all 32 in one subscription.
20 CEUs every 2-year cycle, including at least 4 in Ethics. Supervision CEUs are not required for BCaBAs unless specified by your supervisor.
