Ontario CPD: check one activity’s 10-hour limit

Add the hours for one activity or one recurring activity type, then see the most that could fit under the College’s 10-hour limit. No account needed.

Choose one group before you add

The College limits each unique activity to 10 claimable hours, including a recurring activity type. Use this helper for one group at a time. Decide how your activities should be grouped using the College’s current guidance.

  • One 13-hour workshop: enter 13. The limit leaves at most 10 hours for that workshop.
  • Two different 13-hour workshops: calculate each workshop separately; do not combine them into one group.
  • Providing supervision to one or more supervisees: combine those supervisory meetings for the limit. Receiving supervision has a separate limit.

Enter one number per line, in hours. For example, enter 3.5 for three and a half hours. Up to 100 entries; each may have up to six decimal places.

What this result means: It applies only the 10-hour arithmetic to the numbers you enter. It does not decide whether an activity qualifies, how to group it, whether your content areas or sections are complete, or whether you have met your CPD requirements. Check your own cycle and the College’s rules before declaring completion.

This helper does not save your entries. Do not enter names or client information. Keep your tracking sheet and supporting documents separately; the College says to retain quality-assurance records for at least five years.

Continue your CPD record

Use the College’s tracking templates and record-keeping guidance, or use the free Ontario CPD Planner to organise logged hours. The planner does not apply activity limits.

Training for a new technician

Intro to ABA: Level 1 is basic methods training, not a credential or CE. Its free seven-day trial covers the first two sessions and needs no payment card. If you already have paid Level 1 access, use your course list: starting a trial can hide paid access.
