Use this checklist to prepare questions and documents for your renewal. Your credentialing board decides eligibility; check your own record and the latest rules before applying.
Your checklist
QABA uses four quarterly renewal deadlines on a two-year cycle. Check the date in your QABA account; the board allows renewal up to 60 days early.
QABA lists 12 CEUs for an ABAT at the two-year deadline and a minimum of 1 hour of ethics. Confirm how the board applies these requirements to your own record.
QABA requires supervision for 5% of direct-service time every 30 days, including at least one live one-to-one contact of at least an hour. Verify the arrangement and records with your supervisor and the board.
QABA asks for CE certificates with the presenter’s signature and printed name. Gather the background check or supervisor/employer attestation and supervised fieldwork verification required for renewal.
Use your board account to review the renewal application, current fee and document instructions. Keep your certificates and any verification copies in an appropriate secure location.
Your renewal planning notes
Use your board account and certificates to fill in what you know. These notes are not saved or submitted and may disappear if you leave or refresh. To keep a copy, print this page before leaving. They are not checked against board records. Do not enter client information.
Check the board’s current rules and your records before choosing your next session. Print this page if you want a paper copy of your notes and checklist.
Choose sessions that match your actual need
Before buying, check the credential, CE category and certificate conditions listed for the specific session. A course collection does not by itself establish your renewal eligibility or cover every required category.
