Where is my download?
How to find a file you bought, why a library or a webcast isn't a file, and what to do when a download link turns you away. Written from the store's own delivery rules.
Finding your download
There are three places, and they all show the same link:
- The confirmation page shown right after you check out.
- The order confirmation email sent to the address on the order.
- Your account, any time after that: sign in and open your purchases.
Your account is the one that doesn't expire or get deleted, so start there if the email is gone.
Every item you buy gets its own access code, and the download link is that code on the end of a web address. Keep the whole link together. If you're typing it by hand, or your email program's broken it across two lines, it's easy to lose the last few characters. A code missing one character is refused exactly like a wrong one.
Treat the link like a key rather than a page address. For anything we give away free, the link opens the file on its own, without signing in, so it'll work for whoever you send it to.
My purchase isn't a file
That's expected. Those aren't files. A library, a course and a webcast all open inside your training library, and they stay there for as long as your access lasts. There's no file to keep on your computer.
Sign in at store.special-learning.com/customer/login and open your training library. If you follow a download link for one of these, it'll send you to the same place.
Certificates work differently and have their own page: Where is my CE certificate?
The link refuses me
For anything you paid for, you need to be signed in as the account that bought it. This message usually means one of two things: you're signed out, or you're signed in on a different account from the one used at checkout, a work address instead of a personal one, for example.
Sign in at store.special-learning.com/customer/login with the address the order confirmation was sent to, then open the link again.
The order hasn't finished on our side, so delivery is still held. If you've been charged and still see this, send us the order number. Don't buy it a second time.
The code didn't match anything. Nearly always the link's incomplete: copied without its last characters, or wrapped onto a second line by an email program. Go to your purchases and use the link there instead of the one in the email.

Effective July 1, 2026, the BACB ACE Provider standard adds participation monitoring to self-paced (asynchronous) CE: providers must monitor participation in each event. The handbook’s example measure is at least three knowledge-assessment questions per CEU, or another form of required active responding. This is a provider-side requirement and does not change your CEU count, renewal cycle, or deadline. Special Learning CE already includes embedded assessment, so there is nothing you need to do differently.
V-CAT (Virtual Consultation, Assessment and Therapy) is Special Learning's remote ABA therapy program that connects families and professionals with board-certified behavior analysts. It includes a free 60-minute initial consultation.
