BACB Certification Requirements (All BCBAs in Nevada)
Regardless of state, your BACB certification renews on a 2-year cycle.

Starting July 1, 2026: BACB requires participation monitoring — a minimum of 3 knowledge questions per CEU. This is not a video or format mandate: article-and-quiz, journal clubs, and podcasts remain BACB-eligible.
State Licensure: Nevada
State-specific requirements: LBA via Board of Applied Behavior Analysis (NAC/NRS Ch. 641D). Requires 6 hours cultural competency/DEI and 6 hours ethics/professional standards and misconduct per biennial cycle.
Important: CE earned for BACB renewal does not automatically satisfy Nevada LBA renewal unless the state board accepts those hours. Always verify with the Nevada licensing board before submitting CE for state renewal.
