Adolescents and Adults and School-Based each include 32.5 BACB CEUs (25.0 CEUs in general content, 4.0 CEUs in ethics, 3.5 CEUs in supervision). The general total for Early Childhood is under review, so we are not stating one here; its 4.0 ethics and 3.5 supervision are unaffected. The BCBA 2-year cycle requires 32 hours including 4.0 ethics; supervisors also need 3.0 supervision. Yes. Starting July 1, 2026, the BACB's standard requires async CE to monitor participation; the handbook's example measure is at least 3 interactive knowledge-check questions per 1.0 CEU, or another form of required active responding. Every CE Library course includes these checks. Already-earned CEUs before July 1, 2026 are not affected by the change.
The CE Library is designed for BCBAs and BCaBAs completing BACB recertification (CEUs). It is not a PDU product for RBTs. RBTs have separate professional development requirements not fulfilled by CE Library courses.
