Early Childhood, Adolescents & Adults and School-Based each include 32.5 BACB CE hours, including 4 in Ethics and 3.5 in Supervision. The BCBA 2-year cycle requires 32 hours including 4.0 ethics. For BCBAs who supervised RBTs, BCaBAs, or trainees during the recertification cycle, the supervision requirement is 3 CEUs through December 31, 2026 and 4 CEUs beginning January 1, 2027. See the BACB's 2027 requirements. This library currently carries 3.5 supervision hours. Yes. Starting July 1, 2026, the BACB's standard requires async CE to monitor participation; the handbook's example measure is at least 3 interactive knowledge-check questions per 1.0 CEU, or another form of required active responding. Every CE Library course includes these checks. Already-earned CEUs before July 1, 2026 are not affected by the change.
The CE Library is designed for BCBAs and BCaBAs completing BACB recertification (CEUs). It is not a PDU product for RBTs. RBTs have separate professional development requirements not fulfilled by CE Library courses.
