RBT Requirements (Different from BCBA)

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) have completely different requirements from BCBAs.

Current: RBTs have zero continuing education requirements.
Starting January 2027: RBTs must earn 12 Professional Development Units (PDUs) per 2-year cycle.
Important distinction: PDUs and CEUs are different and mutually exclusive per the BACB. CE-designated courses do NOT count as PDUs for RBTs.
